Singapore · Twilight Cocktail Sail

We booked the Twilight Sail for a small farewell — seven of us, nothing fancy planned. The bartender was excellent and the cocktails were genuinely good, not just decorative. The crew left us to our conversations while keeping things ticking along. Didn't feel like a tour at all.

Singapore · Half-Day Reef Tour

Took my two teenagers on the reef tour. Marcus — the naturalist — was the highlight. He pointed out things we would never have noticed and could answer questions that went beyond the laminated card. The kids came away genuinely more curious about what's in those waters. Worthwhile morning.

Melbourne, visiting SG · Cabin Charter

We were in Singapore for ten days and this was the part we keep talking about. Spending two nights at anchor near Lazarus Island, away from the city noise — it reset something. The cook's meals were simple and fresh. The captain was knowledgeable and didn't hover. One thing to note: the second cabin is compact but perfectly liveable.

Singapore · Twilight Cocktail Sail

Organised this for a friend's birthday — a group of nine. The booking process was straightforward and Celeste was responsive to every question before the day. On the water, everything ran well without us having to manage anything. The harbour views from the water at dusk are something else entirely.

Singapore · Half-Day Reef Tour

Good morning out. The snorkelling conditions near St. John's were better than I expected — visibility was decent and there was more coral structure than I'd encountered on previous dives in the area. Marcus explained what we were looking at without being lecturing about it. Lunch was plain but fresh. Would go again with a larger group.

Singapore · Cabin Charter

My husband and I wanted privacy and flexibility — this delivered both. The captain adjusted the route when the conditions shifted on the second morning, explained the reasoning clearly, and the result was better than the original plan. The paddleboarding near the Sisters' Islands was a calm, lovely start to the final day.

A Closer Look at Three Occasions

Corporate Evening · 11 Guests

A Team Evening That Didn't Feel Like Team Building

The Situation

A regional team leader wanted to bring together eleven colleagues from different offices without the awkwardness of a structured activity. The group knew each other professionally but not personally.

The Charter

Twilight Cocktail Sail. The open deck format — no tables, no presentation screens — created a natural setting where people circulated and talked. The cocktails gave everyone something to do with their hands while the conversation developed.

The Outcome

The team leader reported that the informal dynamic carried into the working sessions the following day. The group has since booked a second Twilight Sail for the following quarter's visit.

"We needed something that wasn't a dinner and wasn't an activity. This was exactly the middle ground." — Team Lead, Financial Services

Family Outing · 6 Guests

A Day That Changed What One Family Knows About Singapore

The Situation

A family of six — two parents, two grandparents, two teenagers — wanted an outing that would work across a wide age range without defaulting to something predictable.

The Charter

Half-Day Reef Tour. The pace accommodated the grandparents comfortably — long periods on the shaded stern deck — while the teenagers spent most of the time in the water with Marcus, the naturalist, spotting and identifying fish species.

The Outcome

Both teenagers contacted Marcus after the charter for book recommendations on marine biology. The family has planned a return visit the following year specifically to do the charter again.

"My mum sat in the shade the whole time and said it was the best morning of the trip. That's not a low bar." — Parent, Singapore

Anniversary Trip · 2 Guests

Three Days Without Needing to Decide Much

The Situation

A couple celebrating a significant anniversary wanted an experience that removed the logistics overhead typical of travel — no check-ins, no itinerary apps, no decisions about where to eat next.

The Charter

Private Cabin Charter, three days. The captain consulted them once at the start about preferences and pace; after that, the decisions were made for them. Meals appeared. Anchorages shifted quietly overnight. The kayaks were ready when they wanted them.

The Outcome

Both described it as the trip where they finally stopped checking their phones — partly because there was no reason to, partly because the rhythm of the boat made that feel right. They have referred two other couples since.

"We didn't want luxury. We wanted quiet and good company. That's what we got." — Guest, Singapore
